‘Kumari’ – the living goddess is regarded as the embodiment of the supreme female deity. On festival days, a red tika is painted on her forehead. This is her third eye, also known as the fire eye—staring out from the center. The following piece is inspired by her third eye - the all seeing, the eye of enlightenment.
